The first moment I started high school is at my boarding school. I was in my dorm and my parents were dropping me off with my luggage. They helped me set up my room and I introduced them to my dorm "acquaintance". We didn't know each other very well at the time but a week later we were best friends and did everything together. Even if my parents were upset to let me stay at my dorm I was completely and utterly excited.
The first moment where I started high school was here at St Thomas. I remember the fist several of days here. I remember that I was really nervous to start because I didn't know if I was going to fit it. But a few days later, I got to know a few people and that's when I met my good friend Max. It was in art and we sat next to each other in the back row and it turned out we had the exact same schedule. We are still good friends till this day. This was a pretty good memory. I've a lot new friends each day.
I remember being really quiet and nervous. on the first day at lunch I sat at a random table alone waiting for my friend Abby and while I was waiting some sec 5 came and sat down with me. it was really nice of them but I was already shy enough and I wasn't really up for talking.
I remember when i was shy and quiet. On the first day of school i had friends so i was okay and i had one best friend at school since sec 1 was Jordan but i have other best friends now so i am good and we are friends till this day i know it has been long but it's okay because he is good friend.
I remember when I start in high school in sec. 1. Majority of the time, I sat alone because I did not have any friends. There was some times where I sat with other people but they usually ignore me. I was pretty shy and calm in sec. 1 by myself and usually entertain myself by thinking about stuff. Then, I meant some people who had the same interests and we became friends.
The first time going to St.Thomas I went to my locker set it and went to try find people that I knew from elementary by first period I found people that had similar interests to me by recess I did even talk to elementary friends i hang outed with my new people at least tull I found the people that I figure out stuff I am still friends with some people from the first day of sec 1 it was fun.
Its nice that you found some friends quite fast, its funny because one of my clearer memories of the first day of high school you are actually in. I think its funny in a way that if it were a story this would be foreshadowing, it really shows literary devices in real life.
My first day at St.Thomas was exciting and different, having to get used to going to different rooms for classes instead of staying in one class for multiple subjects. I wasn't to nervous, if anything it was just excitement. The one clear memory I have was double booking like pretty much all sec one's do, but now I see that it's not needed, i'm also friends with pretty much all the people I met in sec 1 and now with new friends.
My first day at St.Thomas wasn't as nerve racking because i had one best friend since grade 6 my friend Justin and we are still best friends now.I was a really open person back then like i am now.I also knew a few of the older kids because they graduated from my elementary. This was really a good memory because there was nothing bad about it.
My first day at Villa Maria High School is a day I wont forget. The Vice Principal brought us to the auditorium to give a big boring speech that I slept threw halfway . When we were finally brought to our homeroom , I was sat at the front of the class (lucky me ). The first thing Villa Maria wanted us to learn was how to use a lock . Sadly, the girl behind me and I couldn't work the lock. So we started "yelling" some inappropriate words. The teacher being her grumpy self , yelled at us and separated our desk . When it was our lunch , somehow most girls wanted to sit with me and my new "friend" since they thought we were different . For the rest of the day we had to download apps on our Ipad that the school wanted us to buy. So my first day of high school was a day I most definitely wont forget !
Secondary 1 was a huge deal for me . I remember walking into st.thomas and seeing my friends from my elementary school. I remember being so early for class . It was on day 1 first period in Mr. Guennets art class. I saw Darina, max,Andrew,Athena and many more people. That day was very special for me because it was a new start to my new life . It was a good memory but my memories now are much better then the ones in sec 1 it feels like forever ago .
The first moment at St Thomas I was really nervous and shy, I hung out with my elementary school friends but I wasn’t in any of their classes which was really sad. However one of my friends made a new friend so they went to the library at lunch and since I was alone I went with them. While my elementary school friend was doing something at the computers us two were sitting together at a table and we were talking. The main thing I remember was when we were talking she asked to see my eraser because it had a cool cover, so she was playing with it and then it snapped in half. It was really funny and it was one of my favorite memories because now she and I are best friends.
I think that i have a pretty good memory because i remember a lot of things about my first day of high school. My fist day in Ayalde high school was a day i won't never forget. I remember that i was very nervous because although i knew some people from elementary school that were going to go to the same high school as me, i didn't know who was going to be there and i also wanted to meet more people and make more fiends. When i arrived at school, i meet with my friends i already knew and they were talking to some other girls. I also talked to them and they were very nice and funny. We also hang out together at lunch and after we finished all classes we went home. Since that day i knew that we were going to become very close friends and today i still am friends with those girls. It was a very good memory because if it wasn't of that day i weren't be friends with those girls today.
I will never forget my first day at St-thomas high school. I remember being late and then not knowing where my period 1 class was and i needed to ask a teacher how to get there.I was so nervous walking up and down the halls. I still remember walking into my art class and trying to find a free spot and the person i sat next to was Kelly Woo. But its weird how now when i think about it, Sasha was in that class too but i dont remember seeing her. When i came to this school, i didnt know anyone because everyone came from the elementry schools here in the west island but i went to an elementry in st laurent so no one came to st thomas. But i was lucky to make a couple of new friends. To this day im frineds with those people.
When I first started at St Thomas, I remember not knowing where in the world I was. I remember trying to find each of my classes with only the room numbers. I was very confused and also very excited for finally started high school. I remember just trying to follow my other classmates and seeing if they had the same classes as me. At least Jeremy was in all of my classes so I could always follow him around.
I do not have a very clear memory of my first day at st Thomas but i do remember that i was late for my first class. And that it was a very rough day i was super stressed and nervous i also was very tired after. but i do remember the teachers being very nice and help ful
My first day of high school was honestly the worst because first off it was at villa and second of all i had no friends. I remember all the girls knowing people except for me and like some other girls but it was really awkward. I remember hating my teachers and most of the classes but for the rest of it i guess was okay.
The first day of high school was a pretty good day , I wasn't that nervous I was more exited! I do have a very good memory , I remember things from when I was very , very young. One memory I had the first day of going to ST.Thomas was a good one , the memory was I got to see some of my friends that where at my elementary school and it was a lot of fun , we hung out and we had good laughs.
I remember when I was in my Science class in sec one, it was the first day and I was trying to get a feel of the people I would be going to school with. Mr.G.T my teacher, started talking about clubs and the two kids sitting next on the table next to mine asked if they could make a club of their own, a chess club. In my mind I jotted them down as "nerds" people who likes superheroes, role playing and chess, not calling them nerds in a mean way, I am myself a nerd. I would latter discover that through time these people would become some of my better friends in high school, their names are Reilly Riordon and Mohammed Farah.
Since I went to a private elementary school I did not have have friends when I started St. Thomas. I wasn't really nervous on the first day of school because I am pretty out going and make friends quickly. The first friend I made was with this funny guy named Andrew (still one of my best friends today). My first memory is pretty funny I walked into art class and ten minutes into class I got called to the office because I locked my lock on someone elses locker.
On my first day of high I was kinda nervous but I was more exited. I remember chilling with some of my friends from my elementary school I went to. We had a good time on this first day. I remember when I met Max on the first day. We started talking in french class and we were joking around and now we are good friends today.
My first day at St-Thomas high was not really exciting. I was kinda nervous on the first day, but then the second day it was all fine. The only people I talked to the first couple of days were my elementary friends but now I barely talked to them and I mostly talk to the new friends I made. The only thing I can think of on my first day is I was late to every class because I didn't know were any classes were.
On my first day of high school at st. Thomas, I was extremely nervous, but somewhat excited. I was curious as to how different it would be with the fifty minute periods instead of 2"hours in the same class. It didn't really start off that great because my bus never showed up, and then I was immediately lost when I entered st. Thomas because I entered on the first floor and that's where I thought my locker was but it was actually on the second floor. But I figured it out soon enough and had an easy time to get around the rest of the day .
The first day I started high school was in Riverdale. I was kinda nervous because my uncle went there and he use to get in a lot of fights. The first week went by and to be honest Riverdale is a great school. I didn't feel like a sec 1 , I felt like I owned the school because everyone was nice there. The only problem with the school that I hated was CFER, the people in CFER are people who failed a grade more than once or can't concentrate. So everytime it's recess for them or lunch they would always cause problems with anyone .
My first day of high school was here at St-Thomas. For me it was a nervous day that I will never forget. First of I came from an elementary school that not many people here at St-Thomas know. I only had 2 people that I knew. I remember on the first day of school I mixed up my first period class and thought I had English rather than Art. I didn't realize this intill half way through the class when the teach did attendance. So she realized I wasn't in the right class so I was boughten to my art class I was really nervous to walk in half way late in the first day. But later on I forgot about that moment and just enjoyed the rest of my day and made new friends.
Probably my first memory of high school is just the unbeatable feeling of "Whelp!" because it was past the point of no return. Everything starts to actually matter and grades start to impact your future and it was a lot to take in on the first moment of high school
Obviously the first moment that i started high school was the very first day of sec 1, but honestly i'd just call sec 1 the "warm up". I say this because sec 1 is the one grade the least like the rest of high school, Its not like elementary but its not like high school. So i'd say my first real moment of high school for me was sec 2.
