Unfortunately, the start of 2017 did not start off well for one individual: president-elect DONALD TRUMP.
It was confirmed that Russian president Vladimir Putin helped president-elect Donald Trump win the election by using a tactic called HACKING.
HACKING is using a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in a system.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of HACKING?
Should companies be permitted to HACK into our private lives and determine what individual they are hiring?
Explain.
there are many advantages to hacking such as finding out information about something or making sure that everyone is safe but I really disapprove of hacking. I find it is a terrible thing. its an invasion of privacy and it is not very ethical. yes I understand if you want to find who is working for your company but u shouldn't hack into there private information. what if somebody had a rough past and has changed and was a good worker but because of what you found they cant get a job.

DeleteI have to disagree with you, I'm going to ask you a question: If you owned a company, would you want to hire a KKK member or supporter? Would you want to hire someone who has stolen from their work place before? I think not, so what if I told you, you could find out these things before hiring them. You can find out through hacking. See if someone real doesn't want someone not to know something about them then they shouldn't put it online.

DeleteIn my opinion allowing the use of hacking freely is a double-edged sword. You can find someone's secrets but in-turn they can find out yours. But the most part hacking has lead to nothing good, such as the Trump incident but I can't peer into the future and know if that has disastrous consequences since a Hillary victory seems like a more certain disaster.

DeleteIn my opinion the avantage of hacking is to find out if people are bad or have a criminal record. But the disadvantage is that it's peoples secrets and peoples social media but you can't hack into a high security account. Hacking should be aloud to companies but only for some reasons only for criminal records to find if they are bad.

Such as for Putin, there was proof that he hired a hacker to hack into the elections for Donald Trump to win the elections. Personally I feel that companies have a right to hack into our private lives. I feel this is right because the companies have the right to know who they are really hiring. Because companies can't know you off the interview. They want to know more about you, if you mature, responsible, and if your a good person on Facebook, instagram etc. I find it is perfectly fine that companies do that.

DeleteI don't believe in hacking. But their can be some advantages. For one , hacking can be useful to find someone or learn about someone that has done something bad. But hacking has many disadvantages . Many people that I know are being hacked on their accounts and are getting things posted or said that aren't true. This ends up causing a lot of problems and drama. Companies should not be permitted to hack into our private lives , even if it helps them determine what individual they are hiring . People change and someone should not be judged by their information on a computer.

DeleteTheir are many advantages of hacking such as just trying to have fun, to find out about people your not to familiar with and you can also find out if someone is lying. The disadvantages of hacking is that criminals can hack into your bank account and steal your money. There are so many bad things about hacking, but hacking can help you out sometimes. I think companies have the right to look into your past by hacking into our private lives but can only go a couple a years into the past. 1 or 2 comments/posts on the internet can't define you as a person. It's only right for us people to have a little privacy.

DeleteHacking can always be an advantage but at the same time disadvantage. People go day by day trying to keep their life private. People have passwords on their phones so that other people won't go snooping through their phones and their private life. If hackers give themselves the privilege to go and hack into people's privacy then it's a problem,I find it extremely rude and very selfish. The advantages are very low but their are some benefits for example terrorists and for bad people but their are many disadvantages for us, everyday we go through parents and teachers and siblings just bugging into our private life and so whatever you do on social media shouldn't be shared with anyone else other then yourself . That's the main disadvantage that I frown upon. I don't think that big companies should be hiring hackers to see and know what we do and who we are on sicial media . If they don't trust us when they interview us then that means we don't qualify for the job. End of discussion they shouldn't go snooping through our private lives.

One major disadvantage is it’s not right to let some people hack into your personal life and get private information about you, it’s private because they don’t want you to know. I don’t think companies’ should be allowed to hack because even if your hiring and you want to find out about them do an interview, why should someone get to know your secrets its honestly not fair and an invasion of privacy.

Hacking can be good if you use it to hack into things that can cause trouble or if you hack into someones phone or computer and catch them do something that is illegal or can be very dangerous.It can also be a disadvantage if you get caught. you can be in serious trouble with the law.I definitely wouldn't want someone snooping around in my business because its my personal secretes and my personal business. I wouldn't be happy if someone went through my stuff.

DeleteHacking has many advantage and disadvantage. People use hacking as a way to punish other people, whether they did something good or bad. Hacking can help us find and stop terrorists and other threats on the computer. There are hackers hire by companies to let them check their hardware files to see if there is any loop holes that someone has hack into. Though hacking to steal or threaten someone is very bad. It makes the victim vulnerable and frighten. If companies hack into our private lives, that is like someone knowing all your secrets. You don't want someone to all your secrets and that the companies has no right to look up all your deep secrets. You wouldn't be happy so you and neither do the other people who they are hiring if the companies hack into your private life.
ReplyDeleteI believe yes they should be allowed to hack into our lives, I mean a lot of the time they will just go to your Facebook page or some other social media account of yours, yet sometimes they will access information about you which is not open to the whole world. I believe they should be allowed to do this so they know what type off person they are hiring, tis it that bad to want to know if your hiring a bigot? You never know you could be hiring a KKK member or a Nazi, you could be hiring a thief, someone who has a record of stealing from their work place. So I do believe, that they should have the right to know these things about their employees.
ReplyDeleteHacking is useful to whoever may use it, but you always have to be careful because if you try and hack someone and fail and they find out, in turn they can do the same and it's never fun to get hacked. Yes companies should have the rite to hack peoples accounts ro see exactly who they are hiring but just because they post things that the companie deosn't like or they had a ruff past with athorities, deosn't mean that they are a terrible person or they don't deserve not to be hired.

The advantage is that you can easily get into other people's private information but the disadvantages is that if you get caught there can be very severe consequences like going to jail for example. I don't think that companies should be permitted to hack into our social media because everyone has a different attitude on social media and at work. But I also think that they could have permission to go through everything that has to do with school and past jobs.

Everyone has their own privacy and people should respect that. One disadvantage is that you might get caught so that's also a main reason not to do it. I don't think companies should hack their employees to see what's happening in their private lives because its not really their business. If its your employee, you should trust him and if you feel like he is not telling you something you should let it go or wait until he tells you but hacking its never an option.

The disadvantage of hacking is that if you dont know what you are doing then getting caught could be so easy.In my opinion the main advantage of hacking is that it allows certain companies/ workplaces to really see who their employees are.

For example one advantage is that lets say you don't really trust a person and you7 think they are hiding something, you can hire someone that is a professional hacker so he can check the person's social media accounts and see what that person posts and stuff. One disadvantage of hacking is that if you get hacked, the person can go through your personal information and privacy. I don't think that companies should hire hackers because what if that hacker turn out to be criminals and later go through all your personal information.

I think that it may be a good thing, that if for example your hiring people to work for you at a company and you want to see their background and where they have come from and if they have committed any felines. Other wise i do not think we really need hacking in our world these days

If companies or people wanted their personal information made public then they would allow that. I do not believe people should have the right to do this because it is illegal and wrong. There should be consequences for hacking to show people that it is a crime.

Deletehacking is good and bad , it is good because you can easily find out information about someone if your thinking of hiring someone. Also it is good to find out if you can trust someone like for example , the trump incident. Hacking is bad because it can release incorrect info about someone and can ruin a lot of things for them , also it is bad because people can hack your account and say bad things on social media and that also can ruin your future. I think companies shouldn't be able to hack our personal lives unless its a really important job like the FBI , CSI , military , ETC , so they can know if your a bad person , but other than that I disagree.

One advantage to hacking is that you can get secret/private information if someone is not telling you, however I don;t think this is the right thing to do. If they aren't telling you something, there is probably a reason. There are also disadvantages, such as : it is illegal, you are basically cheating when you hack whether it's for video games or for classified information. I don't think it is right to hack into someones private information if they do not want you to.
ReplyDeletei believe that hacking is wrong.The advantages of hacking is that you can find out anything you want about anyone,although its wrong, i do not think its wrong if you're certified to do it, like you're in a police agency. otherwise i think its very bad, everyone deserves privacy unless you are in a bad situation. i believe that companies can hack someone to find out something about them because if they are hiring you, they do not want anything bad to happen if they hire you, so they can check if you have any criminal records.
