This past weekend, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America.

Over the weekend, there were MANY protests, including a massive organized protest by women!

Why were women all across the world protesting?

    the reason all these woman were protesting is because Donald Trump has become president of the united states. a lot of woman across the usa hate Donald because he has disrespected many woman during the elections and has said a lot of rude things. woman are very important in this day and age. I find that woman are just the same as men and that what Donald has said about woman is not right. #myself

    The reason people were protesting all over the world because of Donald Trump he has been cruel and disrespectful. He has been really mean and that almost made him lose the election but a lot of women still hate him. Women in our world today are important Donald had no right to treat them that way.#mymom

    I think these women were protesting for feminine rights and that they don`t believe in trump and what he says . Women are very very important in our world today , they do so many awesome things for example our moms , they do so much for us to be happy , all women should be treated the same as men , yes women are different than men but they are still people and should of the same power and respect as men have #mom

    Donald Trump is now president of The United States and some people might be disappointed and some people may be happy. Most of the people like girls/women were not happy when he was elected president. I don't agree with everything that Donald Trump has to offer but at the same time he might be right. For example abortion, he's reducing and making it illegal and I understand his point of view and how it's horrible to take a baby and a soon to be human being's life away; but the women or even girls who are carrying the baby also have the right to decide if they want the baby or not. It might even affect their life.
    Us women are extremely important in This world especially for the growth of every country. Without us women no one would even exist. We are as equally important as the men.
    We deserve to have the same rights as any male do and to succeed in life and have the same amount of privileges.

    A lot of women protested during the weekend because the United States 45th president Donald Trump is disrespectful towards women and no lady would want a president running their lives, who's rude towards their sex. Women are important to this day . They can achieve anything men can do such as become doctors, Lawyers etc... And the new president should have no right to treat people and say things that are disrespectful, because he should be bringing good change and not bad. #myself

    The women were protesting because they weren't happy with Donald Trumps past comments over women. People over react because protesting won't make a difference and Trump gets carried away. To me it's a waste a time to go protest and make dumb posters. Women are just as important as man because were both human. No one had a choice to be a girl or boy when they were born and Trump could have easily came out as girl. Our is messed up in many ways because of things like this, it should even be a discussion about who should have more rights it should equal.#mymom

    Women and marches around the world were because they weren't happy about the election. Trump made remarks and accusations against regarding during his election campaign. To me, personally, I find women and men equal. Women do not have more rights then men and they are just as important as men. I found it was a good idea to do this march because it'll show and give a message to Trump. #mymom #scarlettjohansson

    A lot of woman protested during the weekend against Donald trump because of the way he talks about woman and also the way he has treated woman in the past. But the way he makes remarks against woman is very disrespectful. I understand why they are protesting. I think we should all be treated the same but of course there are gonna be people like him who make remarks like that. I appreciate #mymom #kellywoohoo

    I believe this protest is quite well warranted, but still silly. I know that these women are unhappy with the election results but you would not see men doing the same and i they did they would probably be called misogynists or patriarchal so-and-so's. My point here is there's a ridiculously present double standard going on. I will give some examples; Old Woman taking pictures at the pool: perfectly fine. Old man taking pictures at the pool: creepy. If you think I'm pulling this out of fabrication, this was a real social experiment where two people an old man and an old woman both took pictures a the pool. the woman was left unimpeded by people. The man was constantly pestered by people politely and impolitely asking to see his pictures. What's the difference here. Gender. Even THE LAW accepts a double standard. Upon divorce a woman takes the kids 80 PERCENT OF THE TIME. I find this whole feminism movement is pretty much nonsense as what so women need any more of?

    Women across the world are protesting because they don’t like Donald Trump being president. They don’t like how disrespectful and impolite he is to women by what he said about them during the election.     For the second time I will probably get alot of hate but I do not really agree with the protest. First off many of these women were interviewed and didn't even vote. I have no respect for people who protest something after the fact, like where were they the last six months? I understand and support people who protest what they believe in but I found many comments disrespectful. Madonna saying she has thought about blowing u the White House is just stupid. Women wearing shirts that said "I have had 25 abortions and I am proud" seriously?? I believe women are very important. After all I would not be here if it wasn't for a great woman! women should be respected and valued. My mom is the most important woman in the world. She puts up with my dad and four boys and still manages to smile everyday. My mom has taught me many things and I love her for it.

    I think the reason why women were protesting is because Donald trump has officially gone into the office. Trump had said some very disrespectful things towards women. I think women have lots of rights now a days but with Donald trump as americas president he wants to take back some of the rights already put in place

    I think women are protesting against Donald Trump because they heard him grab women by their genitals without punishments. They fear that now Donald trump is president, he can now grab more genitals or other private parts without getting trouble. They also think he is impolite and disrespect. Women is as important as men are. They can do many helpful things that men can't not. They are smarter and can take in less stress than a man can. These are all proved by science. This is why women are as important as men.#mom

    I think very many women in the world are protesting because Trump is completely against women having any right in the world an the society. I think women are protesting because they are all truly offended and insulted that Trump is saying all these ridiculous things. For example he has constantly been caught on microphone saying things like "oh grab her by the p****, they like it", "I go backstage during the pageant and see all the women naked they don't care, they can't do anything`. All these ridiculous things and not only that he is a rapist, disrespects women, assaults women on the daily and is not capable of seeing that women have right in this society.

    Many women and girls are protesting against Donald Trump because the stuff he said and still says are racist and cruel. For example he called all mexicans rapists and all muslims terorrists. But infact he is wrong. Also he wants to make abortions illegal, like i understand that you are taking a life but what if the girl or woman cant take care of the baby and cant provide for the baby.     Protesting is pointless it's not going to change Donald trumps mind. walking around in the streets is just a waste of time I understand that they're fighting for their rights but they have to know that it's not gonna change his decision but it is important that Donald Trump respects women.
