womens lives are very different compared to how they were 100 years ago. now a days women can have any job we want and we are treated equally with everyone. it was much different one hundred years ago when women had barely any right and all women were good for was to have and take care of our families. I'm not against having a family but women are capable of doing everything men do. the reason that's its important that we treat everyone equally is because we are all human. how would you like if someone treated you differently if you had a vagina or a penis. it doesn't matter what's in between your legs or the colour of your skin all that matters is that we are all human.

DeleteI agree with this statement, but I find that a lot of time in our society there is still a huge double standard. Through my experience, (I'm only 14, so not that long) many women want there rights, yet still want the (few) privileges they had before they had rights. For instance it is still expected for men to do all heavy lifting (which is understandable), to do harder jobs, for instance a construction worker.
DeleteWomen's lives have changed from a hundred years ago . A woman now has a voice and can share her opinions freely without any doubt . She can speak up for herself and succeed in doing great things . The men in this century don't have as much control over women as they did back in the beginning of the 1900's . They can't stop a woman from succeeding and becoming something greater than a house wife . A hundred years ago women were considered weaker than men and their only purpose in life was to clean , cook and watch over the children . Now women's have a choice in their future and can control what they want to become . But , I don't know what women's lives will be in a hundred years ,no one can truly know . Something can happen in the future that can change the power a woman has from today . Girls could lose everything they have fought for but can also gain . It is very important to treat everyone as equals because no one is greater than another , anyone can succeed in life and they shouldn't be judged for their looks, culture or sex. No one is better than another we are all equals , forever .

Delete100 years ago, woman had little to no rites. Now, woman are treated equally, for the most part. There are still some places in the world that treat woman in-equally, and there are still people that think woman aren't equal to men. I'm sure that 100 years from now men and woman will be 100% equal to men, no inequalities.

Deletei think that 100 years ago women didn't have as many rights as we do now.we used to not have the right to vote or we would be less important than men. the life of a women 100 years ago was nothing compared to the life of a man. now days we have the same rights in most parts of this world but in other parts women are still not treated with the respect that they deserve. they don't think that women are capable of doing what men do. we aren't strong enough or smart enough or brave enough but we all know that that isn't true. i think that in 100 years from now women will keep having rights and be equal to men. but i also fear that maybe the men will have there turn of not being treated equally to women. maybe society will take a swing at them instead.

ReplyDeleteLife without both kind of sexes wouldn't be a world well developed or even developed at all. People take women for granted. Some guys use us and take us for granted. Today mostly all guys our age only care about girls lower area and how hot they are and what they can get out of them so they can brag to their friends. The truth is it will always stay this way but the problem isn't the guys it's also the girls. Today girls don't have respect for their own selves. They dress provocative and show themselves off. They show parts of them to attract the guys. Back then they covered up but they still looked good and attractive.

Thanks to females everyone here is alive. Men need women and women need men. We all need eachother.
I don't know what will happen in the future but I just hope it doesn't continue this way .
Women's lives have change over years. A women today has all the rights she wants she can do anything she wants like vote. Men today can't stop any women have the right to do things. Back then women couldn't do a certain job but now they could do any job they want. Everybody is equal there is no one who is better no men should judge a women and no women should judge a men.

Deletewomen from 100 years ago, were definitely not equal to men, and in some countries still aren't. Women were never equal because people saw them as less smart and minor to men. They were treated completely differently and not respected at all. I find that women's lives have become more important and have changed a lot since 100 years ago. I still do think that everyone should be treated equally and with equal respect. Which is why it is not true that women are less important than men.

DeleteSurely, women's lives changed over the years. 100 years ago, women were not treated equally. But now they are. They can work, get jobs and have freedom of speech. In 100 years from now I think that it will still be the same as now. Women will still be treated the same as men. It is very important that you treat everyone equal because we are all the same. Women and men shouldn't be judging each other because of their sex. We shall all treat each other as equals.

Thank God,our society has evolved from being clueless to actually treating women like they are princesses.It's important to treat a woman equally to a man so we don't cause trouble in our society. But i think in like 50 years women will bill ruling the earth and men will be in for a big surprise.
ReplyDeleteI think women's live we're much different 100 years ago. 100 years ago women would stay at home, clean, cook, take care and teach the kids as the men would go off to work. In 100 years i think women will be doing the exact same thing as men; go to work .though they would be receiving the exact same salary when in the same field of work. It is important to treat everyone equal because we are all just humans and no life is more important than another.

They stayed home, cooked, cleaned, took care of the children (many), and didn't have as many rights as men. In Canada women are very lucky that this has changed but there are still many countries in he word where women have no rights and must obey their husbands.In 100 years from now women will probably make the same salary as men, maybe the first woman president of he United States will get elected since Hilary Clinton will be long gone.

They didn't have a say in anything, they had to stay home, they had to do everything their husband told them to do and women weren't allowed to get a job. They were literally treated like animals.In today's society, women can have jobs and get payed as much as a men do. Its very important that everybody is treated equally because if not there is always something bad that could happen and very big conflicts.

DeleteWomen's lives have changes a lot from 100 years ago. I'm pretty sure back then they were not able to vote and now they have the right. Back then it was nearly impossible for them to find a job and they had no freedom of speech. In 100 years women's lives will just get better because the more time the better. It is important to treat everyone equal unless they have committed a crime because it's just the right thing to do.
ReplyDeleteI got to say, 100 years ago was 1917, which we all know was right in the middle of WW1. I would say women had it a lot better then men, they didn't have to leave their home to go die in another country, most of the time on pointless barrages against the enemies trenches. I mean, yes they didn't have rights but if you look back then most women were happy and believed it was just, women only started thinking for themselves (not trying to be sexiest here or state that all women back in the day thought like this) around the end of WW2 because the had received the taste of freedom from men, who were dieing in the war. Going back to the previous point, not only did they get to do easier tasks at home but they were treated with a lot of respect (most of the time). Yes they didn't get to handle money and also they didn't get to go into higher levels of education but at the time they didn't care.

DeleteIn my opinion you are mistaken on how women thought, because women where not happy and were not treated with respect. Saying that women were lucky for not going to war is upsetting as joining the army was considered an honourable job that many women longed to have. Taking care of the cleaning, cooking and general caretaking of children is not and never has been an easy job. It was the only job they were allowed to have, which was completely unfair. Furthermore, claiming that they were “happy” with the way they were treated and didn’t “think for themselves” until after world war two is wrong. The suffragette movement that fought for equal rights, more specifically the right to vote started way before ww2, it stated in 1897.

All the women did was take care of the kids and the house. Women couldn't vote and they didn't have a freedom of speech. They couldn't get a good job, there lives where very bad. Man ruled. In 100 years i can't see much changing since women now have the same or a bit more rights than men do .
ReplyDeleteWomen's lives have changed a lot in the past 100 years. Women have much different jobs compared to the jobs 100 years ago, and women also have much more variety of jobs. I think women and men are more equal now, however that can still be improved. I think that in a century, there will be almost complete (but hopefully complete) equality.

All they got to do was stay home and take care of their families, they couldn’t get a job or speak for themselves. However now women’s lives are much better, they have the right to vote, get a job, speak for themselves and a lot more. Women can do anything they put their minds to and it’s great that now they can. I don’t know how women’s lives will be in 100 years but I hope we will all be completely equal. It is important that we are all treated equally because we are all human, there is no difference if we look or do something different.

ReplyDelete100 years ago women lives were horrible. they weren't treated correctly and everything was unfair to them. men had more priority over women and they were not treated the same at all. it is very sad. In 100 years from now i believe that women lives will be much much better compared to now or 100 years ago. People will learn that everybody is treated the same for a reason and women have a big role in lives so they should be respected. I believe that it is important to be treated all equal because everyone in this world has a right to what they want to say no matter what colour, gender, or sex. everyone should accept everyone for who they are.

They weren't treated with any respect and that is so unfair because we are all humans and we should be treated equally. Men had a lot more rights and could do things that women couldn't. Men were the ones how could live for themselves and women had to marry and spend their lives taking care of their husbands, their children and their house. Nowadays, women can have a career as well as men and they have more rights but I think that there are still men who think they are better. I don't know what will be like in 100 years but I hope that one day everyone will be treated equally and have the same rights.

DeleteTo start off 100 years ago woman were treated really bad they didn't have there own rights, they practically had no voice and didn't have the chance to stand up for themselves so they just continued on living like that. But slowly when we started to evolve different woman started to stand up for themselves and eachother that's why till this day we have the right that we have. In 100 years from now I think and hope that everywhere all humans have the same equal rights and no one is unfairly treated of cour se that's hard to ask for because even now woman aren't fairly treated in many countries. But I definitely hope that in 109 years from now that would change and become better at least.

Why wouldn't they let women vote I don't know probably some dumb explanation. 100 years ago men would hit there wives. Now to this day I think we have done a lot to help women out in the world. Some laws have been taken place to allow women and men be equal. I think in 100 years it will be even better.
