To be totally honest I found the play to be a bit boring. They never changed the background so I found this very unprofessional. I also didnt like how they tried to modernize the play because the jokes were just not that funny. The costumes were very unrealistic and in my opinion just didn't make sense for the time period of Romeo and Juliette. Overall I expected much better and was disappointed.
Unfortunately I didn't watch the play since I was sick and I had to miss school. Friday I wasn't feeling very well at school and I didn't think it was very much but it led to bronchitis. I was very weak and I still am. I spent most of my day resting and trying to regain my energy. It sadly hasn't come back yet but hopefully it'll be back by tomorrow because my mom might be forcing me to go back to school. I hope you guys had fun !
The Romeo and Juliet play in my opinion wasn't that great . I hated how they trashed the stage and I hated that they tried to make the play more this century then when Shakespeare originally wrote it . The acting tho wasn't that bad they did a good job and at some parts making it actually funny with some jokes . What I hated the most was the fact they didn't put the apothecary scene from the original play . So many of my friends were confused as to what Romeo had drank and they believe it was the same potion that Juliet had taken. So it would've been more clear to show the scene where the apothecary gave the poison to Romeo . I also dreaded where I was sitting , some students wouldn't stop talking about dumb things that was really annoying and not useful in general .
I thought the play was amazing. I loved it because of the humor and the presentation. Everything was played well and I didn't catch any mistakes. I also think it's because it was my first time to this play. One thing that was a bit weird was that the kissing was a bit loud and I didn't enjoy that loud juicy sound.
i really appreciate that you took you time to bring us to this play but it was horrible. the actors were ok and what really bothered me is that they didn't change the scene in the background. the entire time we were looking at a dusty geto street with newspaper crumbled in a ball , the way they would just freeze when another scene came on i didn't like it. oh and lets not forgot what the fudge were they wearing like they kept the same thing the entire play personally the only one that looked good was Paris. so ya i didn't like the play at all. i expected much better and funnier scenes.
they did a great job on the play but i found it a bit to modern. yes the pk Subban joke was funny but i much rather watch a more shakespearean play. i thought it was cool how they made it a post apocalyptique setting but it would have been better if they were dressed in nice clothe and looked less like hobbos. i was intrigued on how they all played different parts and never got confused of which character they were playing. i would love to see another Shakespeare play next year a little less modernized and a little more Shakespeare. i give this play a 7/10
I personally did not enjoy this play. I have to say, there were scenes that made me laugh but I don't think that should've been in this type of play. I think they tries making the play too much for our generation. Like when one of the actors mentioned Ariana Grande and Carey Price, etc. I just found that completely unnecessary and stupid. I also didn't like the stage at all. There was trash everywhere and I don't think a lot of people enjoyed the "apocalyptic" theme. The costumes I found looked the same in every scene and I found the actors who had multiple roles didn't change their voices for the role so some actors sounded the same the entire show but with different costumes. If I would have to see the same play next year, I really hope they put more Shakespeare other then modernization.

But the acting was okay. I didn't really like that the actors were playing two characters it kinda confused me. i also found it hard to follow if you didn't know anything about it.
I also got confused at one point when an actor played two roles. I was always thinking "didn't he die already?" since there were so many deaths in the play.

I really liked how they used the students in audience to make the play funnier and catch every bodies attention. I also really liked all the actors and i was really impressed, especially with the man who played prince he brought so much happiness and laughter it was amazing. he had good expression and a,amazing humor.

I remember last year they did a play and it was much more entertaining, maybe it was because it was better or maybe because I was younger and less mature so I found it to be funnier.
i liked the play. It had a good funny and a good lesson to it. it showed who sacrifices had to be made and how people change just to be with someone. it shows us the power of love. I found it sad how the capulets and montages were so mean to each other.

To be honest I really didn’t like the two other plays that we saw last year and the year before from this company, so I thought that this one would be bad as well but I actually kind of enjoyed it. In the other plays I thought that the jokes were stupid but this year most of the jokes were way better and they actually made me smile. So overall I think that this play was pretty good and I’m glad I got to go see it.

I liked the play, there were a few odd parts but in all the (I can not remember the groups name) had really brought the play to life. I know some kids would have found the play bad, but I enjoyed it, it was funny, set in a neat setting with a cool twist to the characters outfits. I believe the actor who most brought the play to life was the older man (I don't know his name) he did a really good job at being explosive and out there and is one of the big reasons I look forward to next year play. (Hopefully there is one).
